Bologna, september 19 –
The new season for Virtus Segafredo Bologna is ready to start and already in the coming days, in Brescia, on the occasion of the Frecciarossa Supercoppa 2023, yet another challenge with EA7 Emporio Armani Milano will be staged. Scheduled in the first week of October are the LBA Serie A debut at home of Givova Scafati and then the first Euroleague challenge against the Lithuanians of Žalgiris Kaunas.
All matches that will see the V Nere take the court with the new match kits made by Macron, which to the tradition of colors and elegance of design combine a precise message of sustainability and respect for the environment because they are made of Eco Fabric, 100% polyester from recycled plastic.
LBA GAME SET 23-24
The Game Set Campionato features a black ‘Home’ with a crew neck and arms with a dark gray border, a color that also characterizes the two wide vertical bands on the jersey, both front and back, and with a gradient effect towards the top. Bands that, conceptually, represent the famous “two towers” of Bologna, the Asinelli Tower and the Garisenda Tower. On the sides, two fine vertical red lines border a wide white band within which, in light gray, is the word Virtus, repeated. The backneck is customized with the Virtus Segafredo Bologna logo and colors along with the words IN ALTO STAT VIRTUS, next to the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna,’ certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the technical sponsor’s headquarters.
On the chest, on the right and in white, the Macron Hero, on the left the Virtus Segafredo Bologna logo, both in silicon print. On the outer backcollar, in sublimation print and in white, appears the words EST.1929, the date the club was founded. The black shorts take up the exact layout of the jersey with two wide dark gray vertical bands and on the sides the red lines with the white band inside with Virtus lettering, lettering that also appears in white in the center of the upper border.
The ‘Away‘ version is white with a crew neck and arms with a light gray border. The two wide vertical stripes, front and back, in light gray are also repeated here. On the sides two fine red and light gray vertical stripes frame a black band inside which, in gray, appears the Virtus inscription. The backneck is personalized as in the Home and in the backneck, in black, is printed the words EST.1929. The white shorts repeat the jersey graphic and the Virtus inscription in the center of the upper border is in black.
EUROLEAGUE GAME SET 23-24
As for the Euroleague Game Set, the black ‘Home‘ and the white ‘Away‘ feature an elegant vertical stripe composed of pairs of lines (white in the black version, black in the white version) with an upward gradient effect. The crew neck and arms are in white as is the band present on the sides of the jersey. On the chest, on the right in silicon print, is the club logo and just below the Macron Hero, while on the left is applied the Turkish Airlines Eurolegue patch. On the outside back neck is printed the Italian tricolor. In the back of the jersey, on the bottom, there is instead the inscription BOLOGNA. The backneck is customized with the logo and colors of Virtus Segafredo Bologna along with the words IN ALTO STAT VIRTUS, next to the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’. The black shorts for the Home, white for the Away, follow the graphic layout of the jerseys with the pairs of vertical lines with contrasting color and with the Virtus lettering in the center of the upper edge.
WOMEN GAME SET 23-24
The Virtus Segafredo Bologna women’s game kits for both the championship and Euroleague were also presented. The LBF Game Set features an all-black ‘Home‘ with a V-neck and white edged arms. The backneck, as in the men’s version, is customized with logo, club colors, the words IN ALTO STAT VIRTUS, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna‘. On the chest is the Macron Hero on the right and the Virtus Segafredo Bologna logo on the left, both in silicon print. On the outer back neck is printed in white the words EST.1929. The shorts are black. The ‘Away‘ version is white with a neckline and arms with black end stripes and white shorts.
As for the Euroleague Game Set, the two jerseys repeat the same layout as the championship jerseys with the difference that on the chest, above the Macron Hero is the Italian tricolor and the Bologna club logo is placed in the center. Further down, in the center of the jersey, the VIRTUS inscription stands out, white in the black version, black in the white one. Again on the outside back neck is printed the year of foundation: EST.1929.
