Coach Banchi’s words after the win on Partizan’s court: “An important win, a great way for us to end the Euroleague first round, protect our position and prove in such a special environment against such a strong team that we have the consistency to compete. I want to thank and congratulate every single member of the team and the staff because tonight we were in the lead for most of the game despite the problems we suffered during the game with fouls, especially with the longs, with some injuries with Hackett, with Cacok and we kept playing together, to attack each other, because when you face Partizan you have to play solidly for 40 minutes and that’s why the game was decided at the end, as we expected. But the most important thing is the personality we showed throughout the match and the team spirit we showed throughout the match.”
