Baskonia will be the next step in the EuroLeague play-in for Coach Banchi’s V Nere!
On Friday, April 19, with tip-off at 8:30 p.m., at Vitoria’s Buesa Arena, Belinelli and his teammates will face Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, defeated in the game with Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
Below is the Play-in format:
The seventh- and eighth-place ranked teams will face each other in a single game to clinch a spot in the quarterfinals against the regular season runner-up.
Similarly, teams ranked ninth and 10th will play a single game, the loser of which will be eliminated. The winner will challenge the seventh or eighth-place finishers, depending on which game they lost, to decide the final playoff spot and be paired with the first-place finisher of the regular season.
Each Play-In Showdown game will be hosted by the team with the best finish in the regular season.
