Coach Banchi’s statements after the Madrid game: “ Congratulations to Real. To win today we had to be perfect, in the first half we played a very good game, but in the second half Real put on talent and physicality, and we struggled to put on the same level of intensity. Real played with flow and found a really inspired evening, they played a very solid game. But I think we have to be more consistent and focused for the whole game to win games like this, and find wins that are not too far to come. This is the schedule, we can’t think too much about this game. We have to think about the positives, and work on the negatives.”
The rumor of Cordinier to Real? “These are gossips, they are always around us and I can’t control them. Since the summer, there’s always talk about some of us leaving. The club has made an official statement, I have to keep every player calm and focused, to get the best possible results.”
