Villeurbanne –
Coach Banchi’s statements at the end of the game with ASVEL: “Bad lost. The way we approached the game was crucial, the first quarter of 39 points conceded and 7/7 from three, too many offensive rebounds conceded. However, I am happy with the way we came back and believed in it. In the second half and already from the second quarter you could see a different aggressiveness, a different body language, we were more competitive. And when we played our basketball it was easier to find good solutions. Regrets about the ending, we wasted several chances, even the last play. They were good at getting free throws in the final, we didn’t get them. Big regrets about the handling of the ending. We have things to work on, how we approach games and the level of intensity we need to put on the court.”
