The statement of coach Giampiero Ticchi after the game:
“The tension and intensity certainly affected us. Schio put up a lot of baskets right from the start and we demoralized. They were very prepared on us, and we were not able to produce our game. Once we got stuck on offense we lost confidence on defense which led us to commit many mistakes and too many situations where loose balls made the difference in their favor. A third quarter is not enough: the credit for the win goes to Schio while we have to take what is positive from this lesson to compete in the future.”
