After a very good practice with the Croatian national team Jaleen Smith is already working at the Porelli gym together with his new teammates, “It is very nice to have everything close together in one place. We have the gym and right next door the food room, it’s different but I’m already taking advantage of it. I have met the guys, they are all great, we have a good team and I am convinced it will be a good season. In the past few years there was always interest but we never reached an agreement. Now I am here, when I arrived everyone was really happy and I am happy too. It is my first time in Italy and being in Bologna is really special. First feelings? It was my first open-door training, there were so many fans and the support of the city is really strong. When I was downtown I saw that the city is not very big but everything is close. Even in Germany I lived in a small town but there was not so much, but here there is everything you need. I like Bologna a lot. Goals? I would like to improve my game in general. Coach Scariolo will definitely help me, he is one of the best coaches in Europe. As for the season, the goal is to win as many games as possible, I don’t have goals as an individual because I would like to achieve as many as a team and try to win as many as possible during the season.”
