Bologna –
During the week dedicated to the National Teams’ window, six athletes from the Virtus Emil Banca youth sector will be aggregated with the first team, allowing Segafredo to carry out regularly scheduled training sessions.
They are class 2006 Matteo Boggian and Giacomo Donati, members of coach Tommaso Menichetti’s U19 Eccellenza lineup, and class 2007 Matteo Accorsi, Matteo Baiocchi, Stefano Maurizzi and Riccardo Vandini, who are involved this year with both the U19 and U17 Eccellenza teams of coach Mattia Largo.
The six athletes will participate in weeklong training sessions until the return of the Virtus nationals at the end of qualifying competitions for the FIBA European Championships.
