First scrimmage of the season on file for Coach Banchi’s V Nere who hosted Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro this afternoon at Palestra Porelli.
Four 10′ quarters and score reset at each buzzer. The first basket of the season bears the signature of Achille Polonara, all the new virtussini signings scored, out Grazulis, Cacok and Cordinier.
Top scorer for the Black Vs Matt Morgan scored 19 points, followed by Clyburn, Pajola and Shengelia (8 points each). Applause, on the part of Virtus bench, for Matteo Accorsi, who also scored during the friendly game and joined the first team along with Matteo Lenci.
Coach Banchi’s comments at the end of the match: “We thank Pesaro for the availability shown in this first scrimmage of the season.
