Last night’s game at the Virtus Arena marked a historic milestone for the club, as Virtus Bologna exceeded 10,000 spectators for a home game for the first time ever. This is the club’s second-highest gate ever after the Eurocup final, a record made even more special by the victory achieved thanks to the performance on the court of our players, coach Ivanovic and his staff, and the entire Vu Nera fanbase, who supported the team from the first minute to the last, despite the circumstances on the eve of the game and in the first quarter, which could have discouraged anyone. For every ten players who took turns on the court during the forty minutes, there were a thousand times more – today it is appropriate to say – who never stopped clapping, singing and cheering on the team.
