Bologna –
The 2024/2025 season officially begins!
First day of training set for Saturday, August 24, while the open-door training for the usual crowd bath and greeting to the fans will be Monday, August 26 at 5:30 pm.
The official presentation of Virtus Segafredo Bologna 2024/2025 will take place at the Bologna Fairs on September 4 during the 11th edition of Farete.
The run-up to the first official commitment of the season, set for Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Unipol Arena vs. Napoli basketball (LBA Supercoppa semifinal), will see six friendly matches.
It starts with a closed-door scrimmage in Porelli with Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro on Saturday, Aug. 31, two international tournaments in Cagliari and Crete, and a date on Sept. 11 with Germani Brescia at PalaLeonessa for the Ferrari Trophy.
- Saturday, Aug. 31, 6 p.m.: Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro (Palestra Porelli, Bologna, closed-door scrimmage);
- Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7: 14th Edition International Basketball Tournament “City of Cagliari,” Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs CB Gran Canaria | Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari/P.A.O.K. BC Thessaloniki (Pala Pirastu, Cagliari);
- Wednesday, Sept. 11: 8th Edition Ferrari Trophy, Germani Brescia vs Virtus Segafredo Bologna (PalaLeonessa A2A, Brescia);
- Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15: Crete Tournament, Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs Olympiacos Piraeus | Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs Olimpia Milano/Fenerbahce Istanbul (Crete).
