A real crowd shower yesterday welcomed captain Belinelli and Ante Zizic at Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s Temporary Store (at Shopville in Gran Reno).
Signings, photos and autographs for many fans in attendance and even some banter with the press and Media, about Sunday’s win and the future of the season:
Belinelli – Something clicked already at the Forum. Small differences from the tactical point of view in offense and defense that something positive has already brought. Now forward with humility because the road is long and there is a lot to do, we have to be a team not only outside but also on the court.
Ivanovic’s ideas? Believe in us, strive and create a group that becomes a team: these are the three things to start from that Ivanovic focused on.
You know how strong my bond with Banchi was. Last year he was phenomenal when he came in place of Scariolo, rekindling something in everyone and myself especially. He should be thanked because he is a great person and coach.
Ivanovic is known for very hard workouts. I hope not, I am not a youngster anymore (laughs). All jokes aside, we will face them seriously and calmly and I will give my best to be important for the team.”
Zizic – Dusko wants aggressiveness and to see us more of a team on and off the field. It is a pleasure to work with such a coach, these first days have been exceptional and the Milan game is the beginning of a new journey.”
