Bologna –

Virtus Bologna would like to say goodbye and thank Alessandro Abbio for his work and dedication made available to the club as Technical Manager of Virtus youth sector. The position of Technical Manager is given to Mattia Largo.

Now in his 19th season with the Black Vs, Largo began his coaching career with Virtus in the youth sector before moving to the first team as an assistant coach from 2014 to 2021. This past season, he led Virtus Under-13 team.

Largo: “I am honored by this new position. We know we have an important job ahead of us, the goal will be the training of the boys, both from a technical and human point of view. The youth sector of Virtus Bologna wants to be in all respects an all-round ‘sports school’.”

The new staff for the 2022/23 sports season will therefore be composed as follows:

Under 19 – Matteo Lolli

Under 17 – Mattia Largo

Under 15 – Matteo Grazi

Under 14 – Andrea Venturi

Under 13 – Luca Brocchetto
