Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s season has officially begun, and among the new faces they have welcomed Bruno Mascolo: “The first sensations are more than positive, the fans immediately made themselves heard, already after my announcement many people wrote to me and immediately made me feel their warmth. Then the impact on the day of the first open practice was strong, you don’t often get to to see this attachment to the jersey: it was beautiful for us players, especially for me who was not used to these things. For me Virtus is not an arrival point but an opportunity to show what I can do and to help the team: if there is a need to get my hands dirty I am ready and I will do it without any problem. When other teams play against Virtus they make the red circle on the date of the game, at least I did. This club is a staple for other teams and we will have to be ready to face opponents who give more than 100 percent against us. The first few rounds of training? I am getting along very well, the Italian players I already knew, they are veterans and they are making me feel at home but everyone is very relaxed, I am getting along very well.”
