After the win in the Italian Supercup semifinal against Reyer Venezia, Olbis Andrè spoke to LBF microphones. “We definitely didn’t start off on the right foot, a little soft on defense, we suffered throughout the game from their aggressiveness. We were good at staying focused from the beginning to the end, believing in our principles, defenses and schemes and managed to bring the game home. Tomorrow will be a tough game but finals are all like that, now we will try to recover our energy as soon as possible and then we will think about doing our best on the court tomorrow.”
These are the words of Coach Vincent after the game, “The girls did very well. During the first friendly match of the pre-season we lost by 10/15 points to Venice. It is true that this time we played with Haley coming in right after, but they are organized well. We worked well on defensive adjustments and change management, we are taking steps forward and that is good news. They tried to play zone, change strategies, but we managed to get ahead and that is very good. I’m really happy because everyone helped out.”
