At the end of the last practice before the game against Battipaglia these were the words of coach Pierre Vincent: “Battipaglia plays with a good quintet, they have more difficulties with the bench but they manage to produce good basketball, as for example they did in Ragusa and controlled Venice in the first half of the game. Their guard, Ferrari, is very dangerous and their long U.S. player plays very well. We need to raise the intensity level, as we did in Brescia, to continue to improve in games like Prague, where the level is more intense and the players are more physical. We have to take advantage of these games to improve our defensive quality and try to convert on offense, because sometimes we struggle, we lose balls on counterattacks and we have to take advantage of these moments in the game.”
