At the end of the last training session before the game against Dinamo Sassari, these are the words of coach Pierre Vincent: “We arrive in Sassari after a Euroleague trip, the biggest difficulty for us will be to manage fatigue and the girls who have recently returned from injuries. Olbis Andrè played the first game against Polkowice after a long period away from the court and will not be able to play so much against Sassari, Iliana Rupert should be back but Ivana Dojkic will be missing. We’ll need the whole bench for the necessary minutes to play at a good level of performance, Cecilia Zandalasini also played a lot in Polkowice and it won’t be easy for us, tomorrow’s game will be a difficult challenge. Sassari plays with a lot of shooters, even from long distance, they’re aggressive on defence and we’ll have to adapt to the pressure they put on us to find easy baskets. We are dealing with a complex period, with defeats of a few points in the Euroleague and many injuries, we must always try to give our best and improve.”
