LBF | In Ragusa best three points performance and season high for Francesca Pasa

Bologna –

Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s win on Ragusa’s court was the third consecutive win after the “forced stop” in January, a victory that allowed coach Lardo’s girls to keep their unbeaten streak away from Bologna in LBF.

Even if against a re-staffed team due to injuries, yesterday Segafredo managed to keep the right intensity for the whole 40′ of the game, as coach Lardo had asked. First of all, it was the best test from the arc for the bianconere, who shot 14/23 from three points thanks to the 100% of Pasa and Tassinari (3/3 for the former, 2/2 for the latter), the 4/5 of Zandalasini and the 3/4 of Cinili. Second best test in the entire championship, instead, in the assists category: yesterday, 26 winning passes by the Virtus team against Ragusa (5 each for Pasa and Hines-Allen), who did better only in the first round victory against Sassari. Segafredo defense allowed the Sicilian team only 57 points (fourth best performance of the season) and the intensity in their own half of the court allowed Turner and her teammates to steal 13 balls, better only against Lucca, Faenza and Moncalieri.

On an individual level, yesterday Francesca Pasa had her best performance in a Virtus jersey: season high with 11 points with 3/3 from three, 2 rebounds, 2 recoveries and 5 assists in 22′ of play.
