Coach Sergio Scariolo spoke in press conference after the victory over Reyer: “Very satisfied with the game and how the team was on the court after a very tough week, 5 games in 10 days, with several players not at their best to put it mildly. We had an excellent approach, we knew that Reyer usually starts off very strong here at home: we were focused, we put the game in the right direction and we repelled the attempts of a Reyer team that never gave up. We still managed to keep it at a safe distance. Different players during the game? Mannion was consistent and inspired, he did well, didn’t force it, and made his contribution on defence. Apart from him, others were also protagonists: at some junctures we played well on defence changes on Beli but we still have to do it better, we had very good moments from Milos but in general from everyone. Daniel played and gritted his teeth only because Pajola got hurt. Mam was intense, some possessions could have been more decisive but he played a good game.”
