At the end of Game 2 won against Tortona, Tessitori and Shengelia were named MVP by Rai and Eurosport, these are their words at the final buzzer.
Amedeo Tessitori’s words at the end of the game, to the microphones of Rai Sport: “We improved and held our own after the initial difficulties against their energy. The weak point remains rebounds, they go there with all players and we will have to respond with teamwork. My job is to adapt to the minutiae I am asked for.”
Toko Shengelia’s comment to Eurosport’s microphones, “We had made some mistakes defensively, then we talked with the coach and staff these last two days about what to improve from this point of view. Definitely defensive communication was the aspect we needed to improve on. For game 3 we have to aim for the all in, there is only one thing, to win. That’s what these first two games are for, we needed to win to show up for game 3 and give everything.”
