Comments after the game against Unahotels Reggio Emilia by coach Sergio Scariolo:“Very happy with the game because it was a tough, well-organized opponent that was able to put us in trouble and therefore it was a high libel game. We were able to interpret it well and in the second half we forced a few times but I liked the intensity we put on the court: in general an excellent defensive second half and the few lost balls finally. We knew where to let the ball go and when we stopped losing silly balls, we opened a gap.
The team works with serenity: as long as we put into practice the paino partita, which helps you so much, the level of the team is of high value because it is capable of being ready in this formula in which we played two games in three days.
There is no denying that the lead in the league is momentary, but the work done is there for all to see. The championship remains a step below the other competitions, but to come so far undefeated, alone, gives us charge and confidence and we take credit for that.”
Alessandro Pajola and Jordan Mickey, on the other hand, spoke to Eleven Sports microphones, commenting on the race as follows:
Pajola – “It’s good to have won, we made up for it right away against a tough team to face. We did well, we were focused, on with it.”
Mickey – “Tough game against a very good team. It was a good win before an important week.”
