After the game against Pesaro, coach Sergio Scariolo spoke in the press conference: “A very important victory, we wanted it with some good defensive plays but also with some enlightening plays in attack that we didn’t always have but that at the important moment, with foot-to-the-ground shots, we converted into important baskets. We lost a few too many rebounds when we played with a small quintet. We varied a lot: in the second half we had to infiltrate Pajola who gave us a lot and I must say that in the end it was the right decision even though Alessandro is going through a physically complex moment but we had to put him in. Teodosic was also not very well but he played anyway: we’ve been in emergency since the beginning, but now even more so, but when the opponent requires it we try not to go too subtle. It was a beautiful game in a great atmosphere thanks also to our many fans who came from Bologna. It is important to stay ahead of the others until the end of the first half of the season with a view to the Coppa Italia: now we have two very difficult games and we will see against Fenerbahce who we can count on.”
