Daniel Hackett, in the morning of yesterday Wednesday, July 10 in connection with Sky Sport, was a guest on the program “Guten Morgen Euro.”
Many topics were discussed, among them the result of virtussino Matteo Accorsi’s Under 17 and congratulations to his teammate Cordinier for the convocation with the French national team: “The silver medal of the Under 17 certainly represents a good signal, something important for the future that definitely gives hope. As for the Olympics, I wrote to Isaia (Cordinier), congratulated him and congratulated him on being called to the national team.”
At the end also a thought about the upcoming season, which will see Virtus Segafredo involved in the EuroLeague for the third consecutive year: “We have a good marathon ahead of us, but I think that being able to play another year of EuroLeague for Virtus and for Bologna is a matter of great honor, joy and at the same time great sacrifice. We have a long season ahead of us, certainly we are aware that we start from a solid locker room, from the enthusiasm of our fans, from a strong and ambitious Company, it’s up to us players to manage everything in the best possible way, trying to get into the European post-season, as we did last year, and trying to get results in the italian Championship as well.”
