At the end of the game against Villeneuve d’Ascq, valid for the fourth day of the regular season of EuroLeague Women, these are the words of coach Vincent: “It was not the best of nights, I regret our 3-point performance. We had a lot of opportunities but we didn’t take advantage of them and we didn’t score. We also missed a lot of layups because of the pressure they put on us defensively. We scored 53 percent from 2 and we need to do much better. We played a good game against Avenida, but every game is important and complex at the same time.”
Iliana Rupert’s postgame words, “We knew Villeneuve was a very aggressive team and playing here is never easy. After a great start from them we couldn’t get back into the game, there were a couple of chances but we made mistakes that allowed points to Burke and the other players.”
