At the end of the practice before the game against Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca, valid for the 3rd day of the EuroLeague Women regular season, these are the words of coach Vincent: “We had time to prepare for this game, which is always a good thing. It’s strange because it feels like we haven’t played in a long time. Tomorrow we have to adapt: the opponents have a way of playing that is really different from the other teams we have faced and that will be our difficulty. They are dangerous in the post and on the pick and roll game, with guards that are really strong and defensively they are aggressive. We will have to handle them and figure out how to handle that aggressiveness. We prepared by trying to figure out where to look and find points, we have the plays and schemes but clearly compared to their defense there are strengths and weaknesses that we have to look for or hide on both sides. We have been looking for strategies, but we will have to wait until the start of the game and evaluate if the way is right.”
