Coach Scariolo’s words on the eve of the challenge with Barcelona: “Obviously against a team like Barcelona, to have a chance of winning, you have to play at your best: they are excellent on both ends of the court, a deep roster with great champions with Euroleague experience. They have talent and a very good game system, with some top stats, and of course they are also at the top of the league. It is a team that protects the area well and at the same time is the best team in terms of lowest three-point percentage conceded to opponents. There is admiration for the great opponent we will have in front of us, at the same time we are playing a very good Euroleague, we are always competing, doing our best in every game and this is very visible. Our competitive pride is high, the compactness of the team is important: if we can play to the best of our ability, despite having, as always this season, several absences, I think we can have our chances.”

Jordan Mickey’s words in the pre-game: “We have before us the challenge with Barcelona, a tough opponent and a great team, with a great coach and excellent players. We will have to play our game, focusing on rebounds which must be our priority, we have had problems on this all season and tomorrow we will have to contain their shooters to have a chance to win.”
