Coach Scariolo’s words on the eve of the game with Efes: “We are playing against the bi-champions of Europe, who come from a great game yesterday against Milan. They have recovered all their potential: we will have to put in a great effort to be a tough opponent and to put them in trouble on both sides of the court with good defense, fast as well as offense where we will have to share the ball well to create open shots. We want to stay in the game and honor our participation in the Euroleague and there is no better court than that of the defending champions to do that.”
Semi Ojeleye’s words in the pre-game: “We face a great opponent, they are the defending champions and can count on great players. We have to be ready to compete for the full 40 minutes, if we do that we can have some chances to win. We want to make up for the heavy loss in Tel-Aviv and show who we are.”
