Coach Scariolo’s words on the eve of the European game: “First of all I want to express the deepest sympathy from me and the whole team to the Turkish people for the victims of the earthquake. I also congratulate Fenerbahce for including Tyler Dorsey, one of my favorite players, on the roster. Said that we prepared very well for this game, we had three good days of practice, we tried to work mainly on our weaknesses. We know we have some aspects of our game to improve, for example rebounding, which is probably not our main strength considering the roster and the individuality we have; however, we can improve this aspect internally, resorting to more consistent work from each player, good team cooperation and putting concentration on each specific play such as cutbacks and loose balls. Obviously Fenerbahce is a great team, with a great roster, very well coached, we will need a top-notch performance to be able to compete in a warm arena. Basically we have already done it everywhere, now our dream and goal is to try to do it in Istanbul tomorrow as well.”
Semi Ojeleye’s statements on the eve of the match: “A great challenge awaits us with Fener, at their home, in a great arena and against a very good team. We have to be ready to fight for the whole 40′, we know it will not be easy but I think we are ready and prepared to compete. We have to enjoy the moment and if we do all this the result will be positive “
