Coach Sergio Scariolo: “Another difficult game. Baskonia is extremely athletic, and they play at a high pace. They have incorporated another superhooter player to their roster. In Vitoria they played quite well, protecting their paint in an excellent way and knocking down threes. They played great basketball like they have done this season so far. We know that we will have to put a high-level performance in defense -especially rebounding- to guard the top offense in the league and its shooters Markus Howard and Vanja Marinkovic. We will have our hands full, but at the same time I see motivation and desire to coempete.”
Daniel Hackett: “We are preparing to play against Baskonia, a team that is doing very well in the Euroleague and is very difficult to face.
