Bologna, Sept. 07 –
After many seasons in Ragusa Chiara Consolini has arrived at Virtus: “I am happy to be in Bologna, I want to bring my experience on the court for the benefit of my teammates, the staff and the club. So far I am getting along very well: it was easy to integrate, many girls I already knew and they were very welcoming from the start. I am coming back to the Euroleague after several years, when I was in Schio I was still very young. The league debut will be immediately against my former team, Ragusa, for whom I played for eight years, so it will be a start with a bang but that’s okay.”
Fresh from the 3×3 with the Italian National Team: “Bringing in some aspects of the 3×3 into the 5vs5 is very useful, it is true that the spaces are different and there are more people on the court but the readings are similar. In my opinion there are many connections and it can be very useful.”
Chiara Consolini will therefore be one of the most experienced players on the bianconero team, “I hope to bring with simplicity and genuineness what the team needs, counting on my past experience. We really hope to achieve the results we want.”
