Coach Dusko Ivanovic spoke in press conference after the game against Real Madrid: “We had problems in the first 20′ and in the first quarter Real played really well even though we were not careful on defense and I take responsibility for that. In the second half we played better, we tried but the difference was a lot to win. Holiday? He is trying, he is a good player but let’s consider that adapting to the new basketball is a long process: for so many players coming from the NBA to jump into European basketball makes such a difference. Even Real Madrid had Smith for three weeks and then they sent him away. Adaptation is complex, we are trying to get him into a rhythm so he can play his best and he is always trying too.”
