Coach Banchi spoke in the press conference after the game with Pistoia: “We tried to play a serious game, approaching with aggressiveness an opponent that had shown its potential last Sunday. For long stretches of the game we played a consistent contest: we have to be more careful and cynical and learn how to dose energy in games like this after the Euroleague effort. The results in Europe today testify to how it is not a given to come out of Euroleague rounds and dive into league games. Tonight we tried to impose our aggressiveness, not always polished and precise but we did it less than 48 hours after the Euroleague effort. It will happen again, starting next week on the road between Lyon and Venice. We continue to work to find the balance we need to be competitive in both competitions.”
