Introduced the new Head Coach, among the management figures joins Sabrina Cinili who, having finished just in virtussina jersey her playing career, will be the Club Manager of Virtus Segafredo Bologna women’s team.
These are Sabrina’s first statements, “I want to thank Dr. Zanetti, Luca Baraldi and Paolo Ronci for giving me this opportunity. I am honored to continue to be part of this Club in this role, I did not expect it at the end of the year but it was a common decision. I couldn’t have chosen better once my playing career was over.”
A new role, a new challenge, for someone like Sabrina who is not afraid to take on new adventures: “I am aware that my experience can help the girls, both inside the locker room and off the court. I think I have the skills to help them in all aspects. Despite the arrival of some new players, the others already know me and with whom I have a good relationship of mutual trust. I am convinced that this can also help me in my work.”
Finally, the endless thanks and love to the fans, to whom the new club manager addresses words of affection: “I cannot ask more from the fans than they have already done in the past two years. The support and love they have shown has allowed us to get to the finals the last two years, especially in the 21/22 season where we did not have a finals team, but I believe that reaching that goal was mostly because of you. This year we will need you even more because the goals are high and our desire to make you happy, hopefully with some trophies, is endless.”
