Virtus Segafredo Bologna announces that it has reached an agreement for the contract extension of Cecilia Zandalasini until June 30, 2026.
Arriving in Bologna in 2021, “Zanda” has been an absolute protagonist of Virtus Segafredo’s last two seasons with an average of 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game in Women’s Basketball League and 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in Euroleague Women.
Zandalasini’s words, “I have seen great growth in my first two years at Virtus and with great enthusiasm I am happy to be part of this project for the next few years. It is a team with great ambitions that wants to do well and always aims to raise its bar, values that mix perfectly with how I am as a player both on and off the court .
