Bologna –
During the CUS Parma awards evening, virtussino Ceo Luca Baraldi spoke to the audience present. Many topics were touched upon, from managerial culture to sports culture, passing through youth sectors to the strict topicality of the bianconero world, this is an excerpt of his words:
“The values of sports are the same for any discipline: the basic organization is the same. Then, above all, the care of the person counts, as much of the athletes and female athletes as in the employees of a club. I was curious to see the youth sectors: trying to understand how a kid could approach sports without thinking about money. Athletes I listened to here, such as Sara Fantini and Cecilia Massari, knowing how to communicate their values, are prime examples of this. Always find new motivation, especially in victories. Whenever I happened to reach a milestone, I always told my people to reset the feat. And to focus on the next step. The new coach Ivanovic, in a very few hours, managed to instill incredible motivation in the team: sport is about mentality and application. He transferred his desire to do the simple things: to win you don’t have to overdo it, but do what you know how to do. And improve one thing at a time.”
