After Virtus Segafredo’s win over Crema, the statement from coach Giampiero Ticchi:

“For us now will begin a period in which many games will be grouped together: this week in Sardinia made us understand how challenging our season will be. Our physical fitness is still not optimal because we started our preparation late and we need time. I required the girls to digest a system of play, and of understanding basketball, different from what they have always done. Of today we have to maintain the attitude and the will to fight that they put on the court, as well as the directions I gave them because offensively we did well but defensively we have to become more solid.”
