Mam Jaiteh: “I think this game was important, first of all for the standings but especially as a reaction after our last EuroLeague game [a 117-71 blowout loss at Olympiacos Piraeus]. I think we showed some character, we showed that we still want to reach our goals, and I’m very happy about how we reacted as a team. “I’m very happy about the confidence from my teammates – that’s family – and the coaches, who give me a trust of trust. I think it’s up to me to repay them, and I’m very proud of this. We need to keep going, keep building. It’s just one win. We need to keep moving forward and try to reach our goals.”
Kyle Weems: “I thought, overall, we had a pretty complete 40 minutes of basketball. That’s what we were looking for, especially after such a bad loss last week [against Olympiacos]. I’m proud of our team, there’s still a long way to go, and we have to have a short memory, because we have a tough game [against Maccabi] on Friday here in front of our fans.
“(When asked about how he recovers in the double-round week:) I think just trust your routine, get good sleep, eat good food, rely on our therapists. We have a real good therapy team. We just need to get good mental reps tomorrow, not a lot of physical [work].”
