Coach Dusko Ivanovic spoke in the press conference after the game against Reggio Emilia: “I think it was our best defensive performance, we won a really tough game against a team that plays hard. We had some pressure on us at the beginning of the game, but we proved once again that when you have problems on offense, working well on defense always helps you win. That’s what happened tonight: we played a ridiculous game in Belgrade, really bad but I think right now my players need maximum support. Everyone has better days and worse days but together, all of us, we are Virtus, always trying. Thanks to the fans who supported us.”
What has changed? “Even in Berlin we played really well defensively: every time we hurt, all the players were aware that they had to do better, all the players. After Belgrade this was for clear for everyone: sometimes it’s better to get a slap like that. Holiday? Everyone is ready to play, it was my decision.”
