Bologna –
MVP of the day Momo Diouf, for him 22 points (9/12 from two) and 24 rating, these are his words to DAZN microphones at the end of the game: “I want to congratulate Treviso, they played a really good game putting us in trouble with their shooters, especially Olisevicius. We were good at sticking together for the whole 40′, this is usually our Achilles heel, but we played as a team and together. It’s going to be a very difficult week, but if we approach all the competitions with the right spirit we will be able to bring out the best in the next games as well.”
Another star of the day Matt Morgan, a game played with determination with 20 points scored, 4/5 from two, 3/7 from three, 5 assists and 4 rebounds for the virtussino point-guard. These are his words to the Virtus Segafredo podcast microphones: “Coming from two losses in the Euroleague double week it was important to give a signal in this game and get back on the right track. With Treviso we struggled in the first half, but in the second half we turned the game around thanks to rebounds, playing better as a team, thus managing to stay undefeated. I tried to be aggressive, playing a serious game, involving my teammates and they gave me the right confidence, I tried to respond as best I could. We have an important week ahead of us, let’s try to improve starting with practice and taking advantage of the few days off to recover our energy.”
