The Basketball League has made official the calendar for the 2024-25 Unipol A Series Regular Season. It continues with the asymmetrical calendar that presents the return round different from the first round, aiming to ensure greater flexibility and spectacularity during the season.
REGULAR SEASON DATES
It begins on Sunday, Sept. 29, with the first round, preceded by the Frecciarossa Supercoppa 2024 Presented By Unipol scheduled at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) on Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22. The semifinals of the inaugural event of the 2024/25 season will feature challenges between Italian champions EA7 Emporio Armani Milano and Umana Reyer Venezia while Napoli Basket, winners of the last edition of the Frecciarossa Final Eight, will face Virtus Segafredo Bologna.
The last round of the regular season is scheduled for Sunday, May 11, while the first leg will end on Sunday, Jan. 12.
The first league replay of the last LBA Finals between EA7 Emporio Armani Milano and Virtus Segafredo Bologna is scheduled for the Dec. 8 round at the Unipol Forum while the return at the Segafredo Arena will be played next March 2. Belinelli and his teammates will begin their Serie A regular season on the court of the newly promoted Trapani Shark, the V Nere’ first home date on the second day against Pistoia.
During the Christmas holidays, the Unipol Serie A will take the field with two rounds: Sunday, Dec. 22 and Sunday, Dec. 29.
