Interviewed on the Media Day pre LBA Finals UnipolSai 2024, Tornik’e Shengelia spoke ahead of the big challenge against Milan: “Being here is why we have been fighting all season long, to finish first in the standings and use the court factor to our advantage. Who do I fear most about Olimpia? We play 5vs5, I don’t pay attention to the performance of individuals, otherwise I would lose focus on the most important thing, which is playing as a team.”
“We will fight in every game, we know that every contest is crucial,” Shengelia continued, “we know how every possession is important. There is not much more to add, we have to put all our energy into these games. The one that will be ‘non-negotiable’ is playing hard on defense. I think that will be the key to every game.”
