At the end of the game against Battipaglia, valid for the Round 16 of the regular season of Techfind Serie A1, these were the words of coach Pierre Vincent: “We played a good game with seriousness. In games like these I like the girls to find solutions and I notice that there are improvements on readings and what we need to exploit. Tuesday’s game will be totally different, the French team goes at 100 per hour, they run and they exploit the bench a lot. Also today the pace was very high and certainly this game was useful for us to manage it. We struggle on our opponents’ defensive transitions and against Basket Landes it will be important to be focused.”
Lauren Cox also stopped by Made in Bo’s microphones, “We played with a lot of concentration on the game plan and handled it well as a team. Tuesday’s match will be very tough, Landes is a prepared team and there is so much at stake. From tomorrow we will focus and prepare as best as we can to bring home the win.”
