Coach Banchi: “The match against Olympiacos is certainly one of the most fascinating and challenging of the entire Euroleague season. Winners of last year’s Regular Season and finalists, the Greek team represents one of the most serious candidates for the title and will come to Bologna strong with an extremely deep roster further enriched by the recent arrival of Filip Petrusev, who adds further consistency to an already dominant long sector. We will try to build on previous performances, where we have shown that we are capable of going beyond apparent physical or technical limitations and get the game on tracks that will allow us to return to expressing our best basketball, with a collective effort that embraces team, staff and public. These are special evenings to be lived with emphasis and enthusiasm, enjoying the atmosphere that Virtus Segafredo Arena and the teams, I am sure, will be able to provide.”

Bryant Dunston: “Olympiacos is a tough team. It will be a tough game, very physical. They have a very balanced team and a very good coach. I was coached by their coach, so I understand their philosophy a little bit. But as for tomorrow’s game, we have to go into the game with the right attitude, play physical and strong on defense. We have to prevent them from scoring easy baskets, because they get a lot of points through cuts, offensive rebounds and playing together on offense. Make sure everyone touches the ball, move the defense from side to side and take advantage of opportunities.”
