At the end of the last training session before the challenge against ZVVZ Usk Praha, valid for the sixth round of the EuroLeague Women’s regular season, these were the words of coach Vincent: “Prague is an athletic team, they have long players who run, even the guards are long. They can play with a very tall quintet and this is a difficulty. The second characteristic is that they are aggressive both offensively and defensively, they change a lot and the advantages are minimal because with the fact that they are long they can control matchups under the iron quite well. We must try to exploit these defensive choices. It is challenging from a tactical point of view but there are angles that we can exploit, today we worked on this trying to understand what we want to do and with whom. The goal for us is to qualify, so far we have won the games we had to win. Now there are two teams that are at a slightly higher level, Mersin and Prague, looking for one more win between Prague or Basket Landes would be perfect to complete the round. It’s definitely difficult, our goal is to win all the home games and try to snatch one more away game.”
