On Tuesday, Oct. 24, a selection of the Virtus Segafredo Bologna men’s team composed of Daniel Hackett, Bruno Mascolo, Leo Menalo, Jaleen Smith and Devontae Cacok, and a selection of the Coaching Staff composed of Alberto Seravalli and Cristian Fedrigo, were welcome guests at Bonfiglioli, a family-owned company that operates globally in three business units: Discrete Manufacturing & Process Industries, Motion & Robotics and Mobility & Wind Industries.
Also present were Virtus Segafredo Bologna CEO Luca Baraldi and Sonia Bonfiglioli Chairwoman of Bonfiglioli & Bonfiglioli Group, who explained the company milestones and took the Virtus delegation on a pleasant “guided tour” inside the company.
During the afternoon, Virtus Segafredo players in attendance awarded the winners of the company’s internal contest “Time Out 2023,” a competition of ideas related to 4 areas: Welfare & Wellbeing, Safety, Sustainability & Mobility and Diversity & Inclusion. In fact, there were more than 200 ideas brought by Bonfiglioli employees, 30 final winners who received 1 season ticket of their choice (LBA or EuroLeague) for the 23/24 regular season.
