Virtussino CEO Luca Baraldi’s words after winning the second trophy in 24 hours: “Two Super Cups in 24 hours could be considered a world record, but let’s keep our feet on the ground and enjoy these two great victories that have great significance, both for the girls, because it is the first cup that comes to Bologna in women’s basketball, and for the boys for the last few days a bit eventful, we have found this great satisfaction and perhaps some great certainties in a team that in perspective I believe will give us a lot of satisfaction. This is the success of the group and of a Society that has always tried to do things in the best way, in the interest of Virtus, and so we are reaping the fruits of everyone’s work, from the Society, to the managers, to the staff, to the players. I think it’s a unified block right now, and that will be the strength of the team, indeed of these two teams, men’s and women’s.”
