Bologna, July 10 –
Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna S.p.A. announces that it has reached an agreement with Devontae Cacok until 2025.
The first statements of the new Virtus Segafredo player: “Hello to all Virtus fans, I am Devontae Cacok. I wanted to say hello, tell you that I’m really happy and I’m ready to join the team. Let me hear from you!”
Born in Chicago on Oct. 8, 1996 but a Jamaican citizen, Cacok is a 204cm center.
After Alpharetta High School he trained at UNCW until 2019. The following season he wore the Los Angeles Lakers’ jersey, a franchise with which he won the NBA ring in the 2019/2020 season: he remained with the yellowviola until 2021, before moving to the San Antonio Spurs, with a stint at the Austin Spurs.
Last season he wore the Motor City Cruise (Development League team) jersey, with which he finished with 18 points per game and about 10 rebounds on average, before landing for the first time in Europe, settling at CSKA Moscow with whom he put up almost 10 points per contest in 20 games with the Moscow team.
Virtus Segafredo Bologna officially welcomes Devontae Cacok to the big black and white family.
