During halftime of Game 1 of the Scudetto Semifinal against Tortona, Virtus Segafredo Bologna Ceo Luca Baraldi spoke to NOVE’s microphones: “The jersey for Emilia Romagna is a signal we wanted to give, a gesture that other sports clubs have also made. We have an added value, because the Emilia Romagna Region is one of our partners: this initiative will continue in the coming weeks, because maybe in a few days we might start to forget what happened. Virtus will continue this fundraising for our Region and also next season, I anticipate, will start with this thought to our friends and brothers in Emilia Romagna.”
A comment on these playoffs: “I am very happy, beyond the results, with these games for what is the approach both from the players on the court and those who are not playing now, with the eyes of the tiger as they say in these cases. We don’t want to give up and we want to keep fighting on every ball.”
