These are coach Lanfranco Giordani’s post-game declarations: “In the first two quarters, we put in a really good performance: a lot of intensity and sportsmanship that allowed us to find an excellent game rhythm, especially defensively. Attitudes like that allow you to be in control, throwing away few balls and being cynical. In the second half we dropped in nervous energy and intensity, confident of the large lead we had gained, and we were not the team of the first half. We enjoy the victory, but we are aware that we can do more and we will try to cultivate this ambition.”
Alessandra Orsili also spoke: “We are happy with the performance. Coach Ticchi had told us that we should continue our positive streak, which we held until the break. Today we put in a good performance, intense and focused, to continue our streak.”
