Turin, February 17 –
After the victory against Venezia in the quarter-finals of the Frecciarossa Final Eight of the Italian Cup, Toko Shengelia, author of 19 points and 5 rebounds, spoke: “It is always difficult to play this kind of game, regardless of the opponent. We’ve already played many times against Venezia, they play physical and never give up until the end. We adjusted something in the second half, adding physicality and aggressiveness, especially obviously in defence, where we avoided conceding offensive rebounds as we did in the first half. Every game we play we play to win: we know what we want, we won but we are not satisfied. Now we have to focus 100 per cent on the next game: in this type of competition after the first game you have to be mentally tough, because on a physical level you might be tired since you play so many games in a short time. Now we recover, we analyse what we did well and what we did less well with an eye on the next game.”
